The novel coronavirus that changed millions of life celebrated its first birthday a week ago. The Satire Express caught up with corona to have a chat about its experience in India. The following is the excerpt from the interview.
First of all, congratulations on your 1st birthday. How are you feeling?
It’s been a roller coaster ride, I must tell. To be honest, I never thought it would last this long but thanks to the global connection and the greed of you all, I’m here today. I cannot be more grateful.
Wish we could say the same about you. Describe this journey from Communist China to Capitalist America. What has been the most significant change you witnessed?
I wish I could say there has been a massive difference to please some but it is the same. However, I enjoyed being in America. It was like a game of hide and seek. Some believed I don’t exist and some were hell-bent on proving I exist everywhere. I now know how it feels to be a god.
Then, you entered India. We never believed you didn’t exist. In fact, they say we were already combating you well before. How was that experience?
Oh, this was fun. I was very excited to be here. I was hearing all sorts of things about the immunity of Indians and that they are invincible. I was looking forward to being here.
You are all really amazing. The reception I got here is incredible. The thing about me disappearing in 12 hours, the constant underplaying of me, the knowledge about your history, etc. were fascinating. But as you know, it happened quite the opposite.
Were we different than America or China?
I would say, yes. But I was disappointed in knowing your preparations. Indians were prepared for me for a long time. Your caste system and the untouchability factor helped me to not spread like in America. I must congratulate you on it.
The big question is, are you going to stay or go away soon?
You should know the answer. Did the caste system go away or stayed?
